Welcome to my world. In 1977, at the age of 12, I convinced my dearly departed parents to purchase a Quest Super Elf for my one and only Christmas gift. it was a kit with instructions. There was no internet. The public library didn't have anything on the subject of digital electronics. Alas, I was unable to pursue the craft any further.

Back in December 2018 Someone told me to get the baby out of the crawlspace. I did. She was working again very shortly afterwards. I got hooked. After spending 28 years in Information Technology I fell in love (again) with digital electronics. This time there was internet, YouTube, etc. I started building other circuits as I expanded my knowledge.
