Captain Shubham Gupta

Born on 9th October 1995 in village Kuakheda, Agra, Captain Shubham Gupta was pride of his parents, Mrs. Pushpa Gupta and Mr. Basant Kumar Gupta Adv. Inspired by his patriotic passion and dedication, he joined the Indian Army in 2015 through TES-32 (Technical Entry Scheme). Along with the Army training, he also obtained a B.Tech degree from MCTE, Mhow (M.P.). In 2018, Captain Gupta was commissioned in the Signal Corps of the Indian Army as a Lieutenant. In 2020, he was recommended after completing the 9 Para SF probation and became a Commando Officer in the 9th Battalion of the Indian Army, The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces).

On 22 November 2023, while fighting terrorists in "Operation Solki" in Kalakote, Rajouri Sector, Jammu and Kashmir, he made the supreme sacrifice for the country at the age of 28 years. He gave his everything for this nation which he loved with all his heart.
