The name of this channel, Kitbashed Survival, is spin on the term "kitbashing". Kitbashing is something which is done in the model making world (my other hobby is model trains) and refers to the practice of taking pieces from various factory model kits and using them to build a unique model to fit a particular need. In a sense, much of what I do on this channel is the same thing. I take off the shelf survival kits and "kitbash" them into something better and more suited to my needs.
