On May 2, the San Joaquin County Office of Education, together with its many sponsors including the City of Stockton, hosted the H2O Hackathon, an innovation focused competition empowering students to address real world water and environmental challenges. Participants designed applications or developed multimedia campaigns that showcased creative, practical solutions to issues impacting their communities. Students competed for cash scholarships while gaining hands‑on experience in problem‑solving, collaboration, and critical thinking.
